Finished this book in less then a half hour. It does not give any information on how to get into stores. I thought I would read something like, " send a copy of your cards to retail stores with an order form and price list." or "Set up a website so shop owners can order on line." Nothing like that at all. I almost dropped the book when the author began to explain how to make a wooden cow card holder--I kid you not!Product details

This is the first book I read on the subject. As a complete novice, I found useful information for obtaining general knowledge in this space, as well as for bootstrapping a startup greeting card business. I looked over the cards displayed at the end of the book and saw the bar code on the cards--there was nothing in the book mentioned about this aspect of creating and selling cards, which I now have questions about. I'm also interested in learning more about getting accounts to sell cards in larger stores.
